Integration Services
OVERVIEW: Our integration services combine the people, technology and services required to plan and implement a high-speed Internet connectivity solution that's designed to meet your unique needs. From site surveys that can help you understand and modify your current infrastructure to hardware and software procurement, installation and configuration services, we can serve as a convenient, single point of contact to help facilitate a smooth and efficient installation. And once you're up and running, we can help you stay that way with help desk and multivendor hardware maintenance services designed to help keep both your business and your staff operating at maximum efficiency.

SITE SURVEY: If you're ready to take advantage of high-speed Internet access, you first want to know all there is to know about your current infrastructure including any modifications you may need to make. We conduct an onsite survey and document your entire physical layout, including current equipment, operating system(s), network topology, current LAN/WAN infrastructure, cabling, hub/switch capacity, IP address scheme, current protocols, bridge/router configuration and gateway configuration. Upon completion of the survey, we deliver a concise, comprehensive report that tells you how your current configuration stacks up to GM dealership infrastructure guidelines.

EVALUATION / LAN DESIGN: We can design a LAN solution that both meets GM Dealership Infrastructure Guidelines and makes the most of your current configuration. We'll evaluate your current infrastructure, including cabling and network infrastructure, hardware and software, and inform you of any modifications that may be required to ensure guideline compliance. Your design package will include a budgetary proposal, along with logical and physical drawings. Our design proposal serves as a step-by-step plan that includes everything required to implement your LAN solution.

LAN INTEGRATION: Our LAN integration services are designed to facilitate a smooth installation of your high-speed Internet service, with minimal disruption to your business environment. Our comprehensive package includes cabling services, hardware procurement, installation, configuration of your hardware and software, testing and validation. We can serve as your single point of contact to facilitate a thorough installation that meets GM Dealership Infrastructure Guidelines and maximizes your current infrastructure environment. Upon completion of this service, you'll have a local area network (LAN) connection to the Internet, GM Access applications, and to any other business applications you need, such as F&I, auto auctions, DSP/DMS systems, and more.

HELP DESK SERVICES AND REMOTE LAN MONITORING SERVICES: Our help desk services provide you with access to a help desk that is specifically dedicated to GM dealerships, Monday-Friday, during normal business hours. Our trained specialists understand your business environment, and they can provide you with prompt telephone support to help with usage ("how to") questions or connectivity issues. We offer several levels of support designed to meet your needs. Our remote LAN monitoring services allows us to proactively and continually monitor your network, so we can notify you of special alerts, traffic problems, performance issues or network errors before they impact your system. In addition, we provide automatic notification of known problems and resolution information specific to your operating environment.

HARDWARE PROCUREMENT: To help facilitate your high-speed Internet connectivity, we can procure your equipment for you, including hardware, cables, racks, hubs, routers and switches. To ensure compatibility and a smooth installation, we can configure and test all equipment before it's shipped to your dealership, or we can ship it directly to you.

HARDWARE MAINTENANCE: Our hardware maintenance services are designed to address your multivendor environment. For IBM® equipment, a variety of options are available, from 5-day depot service to onsite service. For non-IBM equipment, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to provide a level of maintenance service that best meets your business needs.
